Built for a Lifetime

The original assignment in 1940: Make chairs to withstand water, salt air, and sailors. Today, the original Navy chair is still made by craftsmen using a 77-step process to create the signature one-piece look. The process includes forming recycled aluminum by hand, welding, tempering for strength, and anodizing for a durable finish. The result is a timeless chair that is lightweight, strong, and built for a lifetime.
