HAWORTH INVESTS IN SHOWROOMS TO DEMONSTRATE HYBRID WORKSPACES

Showrooms adapt for the work from anywhere expectation of the global workforce to become an intersection of physical and digital environments

April 6, 2023 – Haworth is investing in new and renovated showrooms around the world to experiment with new ways of work. In North America, these new spaces are in Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Internationally, new showrooms in Paris, Hamburg and Shanghai have been designed with Patricia Urquiola and her studio. In Holland, Michigan, Haworth’s global headquarters has been refreshed and will debut new experiential spaces in the fall for the company’s 75th anniversary.

“Our customers are working through drastic changes for the office and want to know more about how work will continue to evolve,” said Kurt Vander Schuur, Haworth’s Global Brand Director. “As we came back to the office, Haworth teams all over the world have experimented. Our new showrooms are a living lab for these changes and we are
helping clients solve for their needs over time.”

The Washington DC and Boston showrooms are shared with local Haworth dealers, Price Modern and Environments At Work.

The new North American Haworth showrooms include Pergola to define spaces for connection, collaboration or focus; seating that highlights the latest in ergonomic chairs, as well as ancillary furniture; Compose Echo to create mobile workstations for spaces that flex and allow teams to focus or collaborate; and moveable wall solutions precisely tailored for building conditions without the permanence of construction. Globally, Haworth spaces feature accessories, like patterned rugs and modern lighting, plus technology and power solutions to make spaces both beautiful and functional. Global brands display the craftsmanship of Italian artisans, precision of German engineering and ideas from emerging North American designers that combine to create an intelligent, sustainable and inspirational environment.
