Fern Overview

Inspired by the natural flexibility of a fern frond, Fern distributes weight as you move to help relieve pressure. At the core of its design is our patented Wave Suspension system, which cradles the spine to provide maximum comfort.

Fern’s ergonomic design is informed by our long-term partnership with the Human Performance Institute at Western Michigan University, where we conduct comfort studies with experts in biomechanics, physical therapy, and kinesiology.

Fern is not only good for your health – it is also responsibly made. Fern is Indoor Advantage Gold certified, BIFMA Level 2 certified, and is 92% recyclable. Choosing the Digital Knit upholstery option results in less textile waste and requires less cutting compared to traditional upholstery.
