Bob Wayner
“Growing up, I was always intrigued with how things were designed and how the parts were put together. Now, some 40 plus years later, it continues with additional inspiration from the customer who expects great design and parts that fit and work really well together.”
Bob joined Haworth in 1978 as designer and engineer of Haworth specials. In 1983, he joined the Haworth Design Studio where he now serves as Senior Industrial Designer. He is responsible for leading the design and development of Systems products, from product strategy and initial concept exploration, to production.
Bob came to Haworth with a strong background in furniture design, having held positions at Baker Furniture and Colonial Clock.
As team member of the Haworth design studio, Bob has designed and developed many award winning and patentable products. He has designed product lines including Unigroup, Places, Places Wood, Premise, Causeway, Crossings, Race, Enhanced Premise, Unigroup 2, Premise – Moxie, If, Compose, and Patterns.
