Haworth used the IPD model to complete the Atlanta showroom as an evolving concept through the mindshift initative. No longer content with business as usual, members of a mindshift roundtable set out to create a strategy that recognizes the creative, relational nature of building. If engaged correctly, mindshift users employ IPD, early collaboration, built-in sustainability, Building Information Modeling (BIM), reverse engineering and client-centered incentives. The end result creates high-quality, high-performance buildings that provide superior returns on investment and a positive triple bottom line while lowering costs, cutting waste and driving change in the commercial real estate industry.
Haworth also incorporated the Innovatrium
model into the new Atlanta showroom. With initial installation in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Innovatrium is a powerful collaborative effort between Haworth, the Competing Values framework and key universities like the University of Michigan and schools within the University System of Georgia. It is a space specifically designed for business and organizational thought leaders and business executives to host innovation and growth-related programs that help companies rediscover the ability to innovate from within.
The building, Terminus 200 (located on Piedmont Road) is Buckhead’s premiere new-construction office tower. Owned by Cousins Properties in partnership with Morgan Stanley, this 25-story, 564,000-square-foot tower of Class A office, retail and restaurant space is located at the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont roads in the Buckhead office submarket.
